Angela Watkins is a lifelong member of Dress for Success Professional Women’s Group, a unit of Dress for Success’s Leadership Group where she has served on various committees and numerous projects including her recent participation in 2020 as a mentor in the Mentoring Program. In addition, in 2019 Angela was selected to lead her own year-long community action project for DFS. Under her leadership, she raised more than $2k for a non-profit organization supporting HIV/AIDS affected families in our community. Angela has been an active member of Dress for Success since 2011.
Prior to her work with Dress for Success, Angela was a volunteer in the OK (Our Kids) and MOOK (Mothers of OK), an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department crime prevention mentoring program. Her work with MOOK earned her their Mother of the Year Award in 2011.

Angela is Also, the Founder of Girl for Success LLC. In March 2023, A youth program for girls ages 13-17. Empowering youth for Professionals Skills, Life’s Skills, Financial literacy.
Angela is a long-time resident of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a proud mother of fraternal twins and when she is not at work or participating in PWG activities, she enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren.
